found a 4 1/2 ft drum mower (5 1/2 was too awkward for my little tractor)
Found a newer model that is guit a bit lighter because it has a simpler design. More common and a brand the local dealer sells. 250 mile RT to get it next sunday but in real nice country.
Got rid of my bigger mower and bar rake (way too awkward) and am gonna find a pull behind tedder and rake or tedder/rake combo if possible. Plenty of that stuff on ebay this time of year, just gotta wait til something turns up close.
no real moral to that story, just thought I'd share.
