Scrap Iron price in Eastern Canada?

Does anyone know what the going rate is for scrap metal in Eastern Canada - Nova Scotia? Thanks, Sam

Thanks, I'm supposed to be going to look at an old IH TD-14 and I was just wondering what the base price (weight x scrap value) might be. Sam

I was told by a guy here that jockeys vehicles (he buys EVERY vehicle that goes for about a hundred bucks at the auto auction for parts/scrapping) that he's getting about $230 a ton, and his "scrap purchaser" told him we could see $300 and better in October/November

I have 3 combines I been parting out, I think I see that price and they're gonna go.. Hard to pass up that price.. Of course, after I scrap, it'll jump another hundred a ton... That's my luck LOL

(oh, I'm in SE Lower Michigan, so I doubt our price will help much)

They're taking it again.... I haven't checked lately but a guy dropped a bunch off last week and I'd guess by the dollars he got and what he had going in... probably somewhere around 100/ tonne.
Just give your local guy a call. It varies widely.
