anyone know the name of wire mesh that was encased clear/opey plastic/other material to cover poultry and other building windows against the weather. would give several year protection against rain, snow and wind . is it still availiable ? if so where ? ........thanks

I remember the stuff, my dad used it, but I haven't seen it in years. Consider befriending your local replacement window contractor. They get thousands of old but still serviceable sash and can be happy to pass them on.

It was made by Harold Warp that founded Pioneer Museum at Minden, NE. It was Warp something.

Now all I am aware of is the shrink wrap stuff that you can get most anywhere.

I have used Plexiglass in barn windows, expensive but serves well, you can cut it on your table saw but you need to be careful.
