Recommendation to rebuild a Marvel Schebler carb

I am in need of a recommendation for a high quality rebuild on a Marvel Schebler carburetor.
Preferably a shop that can pre-test an adjust it on a dyno so that all I have to do is bolt it on and go.

Thnaks for your help.

The final adjustments CANNOT be made until the carburetor is installed on the tractor. Each engine is slightly unique. You can remove the carburetor from a tractor that is running just perfect, install that same carb on a different tractor, and you WILL need to make some adjustments.

they arent too hard to rebuild a well light bench some carb cleaner and compressed air and a few basic hand tools what is it on?

I understand what you are saying. How do I get from here to there? I would prefer to learn how to adjust and tune the engine of my 1963 2000 series Ford myself because this is the final stage of a 3+ year restoration.
Where do I find the information to get the desired end result?
I was thinking I would have someone rebuild the carb and adjust it to be close enough but how to adjust it under load and fine tune it is beyond my skill level at this time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Although your carb is easy to rebuild, these folks are professionals...

its real simple...get everything spotless clean...bead or sand blast carb body and bowl...install kit...turn idle mixture screw out about 1.5 turns...same with power screw...that will get it running...let engine warm up at about 1/4 throttle...then let it idle and adjust idle mixture till it runs the smoothest...once thats done open throttle up to about 3/4 and adjust power screw till it runs smooth again.
i got a '62 2000 that i've driven since it was new and thats how i rebuild mine when it needs it.

Where are you at?? Also as Rusty says no such thing as a bolt on an go carb since things like engine condition, what sea level you live at etc etc etc make a carb work different on engines. You can in fact take a carb off one engine and it will not work on the next engine you put it on with out making adjustments to it

They manufacture their own rebuild kits and can supply floats back to the teens. They do oddball and exotic car stuff as well as tractors. They have been helpful even when I wasn't spending money!

I looked up THE CARBURETOR SHOP on the net and their information says the don't rebuild carburetors only sell rebuilt or kits. I found an old Marvel Schebler instruction manual in a PDF file that explains quit a bit about servicing. Who makes the best major rebuild kit? I may try to rebild it myself.

Take it off, take it apart, clean the jets and the bowl and spray it out with crb cleaner and replace the gasket and needle valve if they look desperate bad... put it back together carefully so that you don't bend the float and that should about do it. Marvels are marvelously simple to rebuld... Small drill bit is about all you need to clean the jets and use that with your fingers, NOT a power drill.

You have a phone number for them?? If you do can you send it to me by way of E-ail. I know of Crown power and Thokpikins in Eldon as well as a few other places up there and the tractor club there that has the old Oliver 70 up on a stick sort of

Is this on a Farmall?

If so, save yourself a whole bunch of time, trouble and lots and lots of money.

Buy a new one.

They are the only carb I know of that will actually "wear out" the passages internally over many years of service.

Been there; done that.

You need to get in touch with Gary Berkley (GB in MT) on the N forum. He rebuilds these to like new condition and does a fantastic job. I sent him a turd in a box and he sent me back a jewel. He even puts it on his tractor and adjusts it under a load so when you get it its pretty darn close. My tractor sounds like a sewing machine, starts up if you look at the starter after weeks of sitting out under a tarp, and sips the gas.
