Boots for lazy people???

Hey folks,
I have been wearing Muck boots for the last 3 or 4 years cause i got a belly and get all purple in the face when I have to pull shoes on and off and I don't like to tie shoes. Aside from the mucks getting a liiiiittle smelly, the slick lining inside gets a hole in it at the back of the heel and the rubber eats holes in socks giving me a drawer full of sunday socks.
Also need something with steel toe and waterproof.
Can someone recommend something comparable as far as on/off without much effort and without soles that collect a lot of mud? I saw some Rocky steel toe waterproof wellingtons, think they are any good? Whatever I get will see plenty of mud.

I wear the mid-chore Muck boot, don't have any
problems wearing holes in my socks . Maybe there a
tad too loose on your feet ? they're a bit to warm
for now it will be November before I put them back
on .

We used to use a plastic bread sack on the kids feet over the socks & they could get their boots on by themselves.

I too have bellyintheway eyetus
Wellington with the zipper on side sounds good or biker/ engineer boots. don't know if "Iron Age" is still in business or not mine were comfortable from day one. have been wearing velcro strap ones tennies last 5 years

Chore boots by Muck; I can stand there and slip my feet right into them without getting leg cramps. Love "em!

What was the green rubber boots with the cream colored sole and yellow laces that we used to wear 20+ years ago? Only label I can remember is "steel shank", Still available?
Much as I like the muck boots, I need steel toe. We have an insurance that covers 100% bills in relation to accidents/injuries while doing farm (in our case horses) related work on our place or anything we have rented or if I'm just out playing on the tractor or any related equipment. The big HOWEVER is that you have to be wearing approved clothing IAW what you are doing. Insurance is cheap but all the special stuff you need is expensive. Guess I'll keep looking.

Next time you talk to your doctor ask him about edema. I
couldn't breath when I bent over to tie my shoes, thought it was
because of my weight.

I went to the emergency room with a severe pain in my side, I
thought maybe it was appendicitis. They said I had a blood clot
in my lung. Also, a defective heart valve, a chamber not beating
properly, type 2 diabetes, and edema. They stuck me in cardiac
care for a week and put me on a water pill. I lost 30 pounds in
one week, and another 10 pounds in the next few months, all
from getting rid of all that retained water. And I could then bend
over to tie my shoes and still breath.

Don't wear them all day only when needed you feet need to breath, you could wind up up worse condition than you already are.
And loose the belly, I should take some of that advice too giggle.
