I wouldn't. The wind will whip the camper with the tarp and fasteners attached to the tarp might damage the thin aluminium.

Something should be done to keep the moisture out. Rain has a way of getting in and then the pressboard and/or plywood will fall apart. Trust me I have seen it happen. I agree with the comment made about the blue tarps whipping and wearing on the paint and siding. What if the camper was covered with some kind of cloth first like old blankets then covered with a tightly bound tarp??? Or, what about a canvas tarp??? I have also seen people cover them with a blue tarp then tightly wrap around and around the covered camper with light weight rope to keep the tarp snug. Good luck.

Around here there is a company that has a heavy duty light blue shrink wrap. They wrap boats and RVs here. I don"t know what they charge but I see quite a few that have been done.

find indoor storage if you can or maybe a open side roof shelter like a carport
i never covered my travel trailer always got up to check the roof vents and any seams for cracks and resealed any that looked poor worth the effort anyway old art.

I use to, and never had any problems. Just used some bungee cords to pull it tight, and folded it over where I could on the corners to help stop flapping in the wind. Worked fine. I later invested in a cover that fit my camper. But mines a popup so the price was alot cheaper than I expected.

I'd put something on it first even it's a couple tires to hold the tarp up and let air circulate. Put a tarp over our fiberglass horse trailer a couple years ago because I had it buffed out and shiny. Took the cover off in spring and it looked worse than it did before buffing.
