Going to Fairview, OK today

We (two brothers and me) will be making our annual trek to the tractor show at Fairview, OK this p.m., with 3 tractors in tow. Weather forecast looks good; 50% chance of rain today, partly cloudy Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Should be a great show.

I couldn't tell from the website if it was JD ONLY or just heavily skewed that way...

Do you think I'll get roughed up by wearing a Minneapolis Moline cap??? :)

Heck no. No problem. All brands are welcome. It is a mixed breed show. The reason for the JD emphasis (strickly my opinion) is that the 2-cylinder show was previously a stand-alone show held in July each year, and a threshing show held in September each year. With limited resources, it was decided to combine the two in September. There will even be some steam engines there. We will be taking a JD 70D, JD 36 A, and a JD 730 LP Standard. Hope to see you there. I'll be looking for the M-M cap.

I live in Okeene which is 18 miles southeast of Fairview. I will not be there as I have other plans. Don't worry about your minnie mo's as this area is heavy in them old things. Used to be a big dealer (Goforth Equipment) that sold them here for two generations. I personally like the green and red paint but had a 48 U at one time just to play with. Doesn't compare to my Farmall 1066 now.
We got a half inch of slow rain here this afternoon so it will probably be a little mucky over there and humid.
Wish I was around as I would like to meet someone from this board.
 

Yep - too bad you can't make it! Everything is few and far between out in this area - ytmag members, tractor shows, etc...

I hope to see David's tractors tomorrow....
