Hi I need some info I have a 135 5000 hr and looking to trade for 135 with low hours dealer told me it had a double cylendar power steering I never had power steering before looked with some that did have most of then leaked but is the double cylendar good or not.Tried a 150 with power it seemed like harder to steer than mine without power steering

On the 135 the two hydraulic cylinder is the way to go.(One on each side of the tractor.)
It could be the U.K. built 135,which is a better tractor than the U.S. built one.

What engine is in your 135? 5000 hours isn't really considered high hours for a 135 thats been maintained. If you were upgrading to a diesel would be worth trading up though. I believe the later UK models used 2 cylinders mounted on the straight front axle. They are supposed to be the best of the best when it comes to 135's. If you don't have a loader, there's nothing wrong with manual steering and it has almost no issues. Dave

Hi I have a very good 135 diesel all excelant but is rich on diesel smoke hard to back up and breath.I was thinking about a loader need one on occasions the owners of the 3 that was traded was a 150 to tall for my steep ground.3cyl 35 and a 135 2600 hrs Mine no oil leaks brakes excelant no play in steering electric heat plug traction control hyd could not find a better one no body damage and new paint.I keep mine all working. The Dealer I deel with will bring it to my standards to trade. But I dont want a forien 135 with a after market addons like the power steering Thanks for the info. All I have seen leaks under the oil pan and engine mine dont all dri. Thanks again Bernard

The UK 135's came from the factory like that. UK 135's are considered the best 135's by most people that have worked on both. Parts are plentiful for UK 135's. If your 135 is smoking a lot, perhaps it hasn't been doing any hard work or just needs the injectors checked. I think you'd be crazy to trade it for something you know nothing about. 5000 maintained hours is better than 500 abused hours. Your tractor should be good for another 5000 hours or more. A 35 would have an indirect injection engine and a lot less features than a 135. Dave
