prayer request

If I could, may I get some prayers. This is not for me but for my uncle and his daughters. My uncle's wife of 40+ years passed away today. Aunt Pat had been fighting a couple forms of cancer for about a year. So if I can get some prayers sent for my uncle and cousins, I'd sure appreciate it.

My prayers go out to your family at this very sad time. I lost my mother due to cancer last year so I know the road you and your family have traveled and will travel in the future. When sad think of the good/fun times, it may ease the pain just a tad - it did for me anyway.

Jesus said "They that mourn shall be comforted". God said "my Word will not return to me void".

The words of Jesus from God"s word have been prayed and they will be fulfilled.

Please offer James" and my condolences to the family and let them know many prayers are being offered for their sake.

Consider it done! I'm just apalled at the fact that we can sink untold billions into so many more or less non progessive issues worldwide and spacewide and we can't erradicate such a horrible disease that has claimed the life so many innocent people! I lost my older sister in the late 20s from strept throat, polio was pretty much quieted and we have this which seems curable. Cmon!

Want to say thanks to everyone. Things like this are why country folks are the best people. My uncle called today to tell me the funeral is on saturday and asked if I would be a pallbearer. I almost lost it when he asked, and of course I said yes. Sounds like when she went down she went fast so hopefully she wasn't in pain for long.
