No photoshop involved.From my cannon eos20 to my pictures to forum.Couldnt see mars with my eyes but took a lot of photos that evening an there it is.Bright spot is moon.

OK, if you say so. I fail to see how a camera could pick up the surface of Mars, which is ALOT further waway than the moon is from earth, and only see the moon as a bright spot in the sky. Some on here may be that gulible, Im not!

First pperhaps i am wrong on mars photo was taken on 8-26-10 near midnight. I do have exact time an all that photo details available.---but i took lots of photos on that evening an i continuallygot two items on photo an i know the bright on is the moon.I am open for answers to what did my camera see.

Moon on the left, Mars on the right. Mars was very bright that night, and the reflection off of the lens ofthe camera makes it look ALOT bigger than it accually was. We seem to share a common interest, I made this 3 nights ago.<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=148d88w" target="_blank">

I may have seen the space station fly byother night.I didnt get shot of it.That is good shot you have of it.I talked to my son an he thinks photo was not mars but might have been of another planet.I by no means am a expert eighter on camera or space an i guess i was taken by what i heard about it being mars.Any way i have taken moon shots since an have some showing craters but there ar no other images showing.I might even try moon shot tonight an will try to record how i did it.As expert said everyones shots will show same moon but we do it just to say we did it our selves.Sure would like to know what i did have on my posted photo .Welcome an answers.

I have seriuos doughts its anything other than the moon(l) and Mars(r), and based on what I see and the info I have from then, thats what it is. We have a guy close by that claims he saw a UFO, and the footage does look real, but its nothing more than a satelite overhead, this is the shuttle Endevour as it launched earlier this year and viewed from my house. I love to see this in my scope each time Nasa launches one. Missed the last one though as I was at work.<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=1zdcj5v" target="_blank">

I have read unaris has blue/green color. My son thinks venus. I really dont know .Just thought it was interesting an i did fall for aparently false rumor about Mars. One thing i know after looking at photos posted on( Weather Underground )i need a lot more knowelege about photographing the moon.There are great photos on there.Also appreciate John M for his response.
