Didn't want to steal Larry's post but here's a picture of my 87-88 year old parents. "Little" sister came down to stay with Mom while Dad and I went on the WW - II Honor Flight.

PS: Kinda think they sold Mom's 100 year old farm house and barn this week but kept the farm ground.
Just too far away for the rest of the kids.

wow, nice pics kruser!!! you're really lucky to still have your parents with you. lost my mom in august '93 to ovarian cancer, my daughter was born in nov of that year, would of been moms first grandchild. dad died in 96, and fil in 91.daughter only has mil grandparent. take good care of em !!! if not, i'll adopt em!! corse they prolly wont like my biker pic!!

Great that you could take the trip with your Dad. You and your Sister are lucky to have both of your Parents.. Life is never the same, once they are gone. Lost my Mom 27 years ago, and my Dad 10 years ago.. I still miss them every day.. Treasure every single day that you can spend with them! You will never regret it..

Thanx For sharing.. wish I was proficient with pix posting.But have never taken the time . Mom is a Proud 88yrs Young And doing quite Well,,We Have a treasured Pix of Mom and Dad when Making Turtle soup in The Big Cast Iron Kettles the summer We lost dad, . that was 2 yrs. Ago...i have A neat Pix of My dad ,sitting on a Park bench at WAIKIKI Beach , with Diamond head in the background ... We were waiting for my son to come back with Ice Cream , The 3 of us were there in 1999 , the result of a Promise a year earlier ,That if My then Ailing Pop got Better ,(He lived til aug.2008 ,93yrs ),I would take him back to Hawaii,(Mom Would never agree to Go )where He Spent Some Time R&R between Fighting for the 4 Battle Stars He Earned During WW2 ,,And You Know what? ,Dad was Quite a guy for the gals back in thoseWW 2 days(could be Why Mom did not care to go to the trashy(sic)Islands ) . He knew his way around the island Very Well, and knew exactly where a lot of Key interesting places were ,,,And neat Beautiful hideaways that still have not changed,,.. Showed me the hospital where he was recuperating when FDR rolled thru for a visit .. Today My yougest brother turned 50 and We Had a Party, and We All Missed seeing Dad there,,, Dad was a Dandy !

Good thing you had the second picture of your dad. I saw the post and when I opened it, the first picture was showing... then I scrolled down. LoL My Grandparents on my dads side were still living in their own house in their nineties. Grandma lived to 94 and grandpa to 95. Dave
