It still runs!

I hadn't used the Case SC for about two years. It is used with belt power to run a buzz saw. I checked all the fluids and it was OK except out of gas. I have always shut it off by shutting off the gas so there is nothing in the carburetor to cause trouble. The battery was down too low to turn it over, so I put on the jumper cables and did a little work on the saw. I then took off the jumpers, poured in some gas, turned on the gas shutoff valve, and hit the starter. IT STARTED IN LESS THAN TWO REVOLUTIONS OF THE ENGINE! It was an unexpected surprise.

I have gotten so that I shut off the gas to shut off the tractor; seems to make it a lot more reliable. Just like to wait after putting fresh gas in the tank before turning on the gas because I want to let all the sediment settle first. I plugged the sediment bowl and carb up one time anyway doing it, lol.
