Cub Dimentions

I have a couple of early post-war Cubs at my farm in Mississippi, and I need to know the overall length of the tractor as well as the width at the rear tires. I would just measure them, but I am at my home in Alabama. Can anyone help me with this information? Thanks

A standard Cub with a standard drawbar will fit in an 8-foot stepside bed with the tailgate up...so figure just under 8 feet long, and 48"-52" wide.

Hope that's close enough for your needs.

You are right Buzzman, Son hauled one all the way from Vermont to Oklahoma in his pickup with the tailgate up

I bought one about 50 mile away at a dealer about 25 yrs. ago and told them I would take it home with me and we argued around for 15 min. about wether it would fit in my truck . I finily got them to get it up on there rollback and it rolled right in my pickup and I shut the tailgate and tipped my hat and drove off with them scratching there heads .

When I worked for the local Ford Tractor dealer 1962-63 they told of an unhappy customer who returned an 8N in the back of a pickup. I never saw it but it was talked about for several weeks. Im question was what did the tailgate look like.
