Just this minute thinkin' 'bout you! :>)

Just gettin' ready to head out the door. It's about 15 miles over there to the table, so I've got my fingers crossed. We got a real good "sprinkle" here in the hills. :>)

How deep are you planting into the dust? I'm kinda worried 'bout crusting if and when we do ever get a good rain?

I was planting about 1 to 1 1/2 into the moisture that was there and going pretty slow so the least amount of the dry rolls back into furrow. I use the IHC 150 with the wide shoes. Had to do this about 7 years ago when it was really dry with about 4 to 5" dry fluff on top. Turned out pretty good for the conditions. Now with this bit of moisture I'll shallow it up a bit if I can. Dan
