Baler tine

Hey Rich, I need a rear feeder finger (tine) for a NH 275. 3/4 inch x 12 inch. Got one in that fencerow of balers?
I just finished my fourth and last cut of alfalfa. The old Hayliner hasn't missed a tie in over 1200 bales.

Check with your local blacksmith or metal supplier. I got some stock and made up what I needed. Cut off business end at about a 30 degree angle, it sharpened to a point quite nicely, just through use.

Make sure you use a fairly soft aluminum. I found the remains of mine in a bale of hay - cut in half! Didn't appear to damage knife.
