FORD MUSCLE STEERING

I have a 1964 Ford 2000 indust. the power steering doesn't work. Fluid, filter good, and no apearant leaks. What commonly fails on these ? I'm thinking of loosening the output line on the pump while running to see what kind of pressure is there, what next ? Thanks...........

The pumps wear out and the cylinders leak intarnally.

You have thoroughly flushed the fluid, changed the filter and refilled with CNH 134D?
