Ive aquired a COOP E3 on trade for a 78 gmc pickup. what color ornage shoould this tractor be? can you get most parts new, used or aftermarket? where is the best place to find out info on this tractor. I know that it is the same as a cockshut 30.
thanks howard

I do not have the color codes but I know the first year was a different color than all the later years. Friend might have but do not know for sure.

Someone on the Oliver-Cockshutt board on this site will give you the codes, I'm sure. You might want to check out cockshutt dot com (the club website), and join the club and get the "Cockshutt Quarterly", which has lots of vendors who advertise.

Check the serial number. it's stamped into the frame under the distributor. Usually the first two numbers are the year. Cockshutt serial numbers are listed on the left of this page.
The pictured CO-OP is a 1947 later years are more of Pumpkin orange, available from a paint supplier in the midwest. Someone wil chime in with the name. Or you could change the nosestrip to Cockshutt and paint it red.

Contact Phil Heisey at 215-256-8651 or [email protected] He is a great guy to deal with, he is very honest, he will help you and give you correct info. Also Irv Butray, i don't have his info with me right now but if you drop me an email i would be glad to get it to you. Both of theses guys are sometimes hard to catch because they are very busy.

Here are the Dupont orange codes I found for CO-OP tractors. The codes are MAR 90T-22014 and 43790. You can call Dupont at 1-800-338-7668 to verify these codes. You may need the serial number. Hal
