This is Lookout Lake at the base of Medicene Bow Peak in the Swony Range west of Laramie. The grey rock is all quartizite. I don't have my pic from the same time in '09 loaded but the lake was still 70 percent ice and snow in late August. Pretty good tiger trout fishing if the wind isn't blowing.
