Time to start thinkin' 'bout slingin' some wheat seed around.

Since I don't get along very well with the business end of a scoop, worked on that old truck this morning.

Looks like 12 volt starter motor up there. I remember getting my outfit like that back in 76. I just smiled when it came time to load the drill. That was some of the best spent money I did back then.
It worked great for wheat but nothing to write home about for beans.

Allen what kind of flexible 4 inch tubing is that? Last time I lent my Mayhew auger out, when "the idiot brought it back" (AKA three days of hunting the county for it myself and finding it) My original black cloth type with the wire in it was completely torn apart. I had it taped in places before but the scum that will never borrow even a piece of gravel from me, had riddled it completely. Been in need of geting it back together. Used a 5 gal bucket last year...time to think about getting going planting here too.

Isn't that the side dump truck? I'd say just run fast and dump a little. Prolly have to knock the "high" spots down tho. Your yields may vary.

PS: Got most of my edukation from the glennstar!

Allan,

I think I must have gone through your part of the world last Friday or Saturday. Traveled down from Doughlas, WY to U.S. 26 and then south on 385 to hit I-80.

Fascinating countryside, for sure.
