Question How to ADJUST oil pressure John Deere A

I have a 1946 A John Deere. I just had new rings, reground crankshaft, rod bearings etc... In this tractor. According to the gauge at full throttle the oil pressure is only 10 lbs. I prefer it to be a little higher, because I intent to install an oil pressure shutdown switch in the pressure line. I have heard it can be adjusted, can anyone tell me how to adjust the oil pressure?

pull top cover off crank case the auj bolt is in the center of case to the back side there is a clamp bolt cross ways to it lossen it first then turn clock wise

Thanks I appreciate that... In order to keep from trial and error about how much should I turn the adjustment to get about 20 to 25 pounds, if it is only showing 10 pounds now?

Read your JD service manual again and adjust pressure to Deere's recommended specs. Or you will be sorry.

If he had the service manual, he prolly wouldn't be asking would he? Nice to see the consistancy in your responses.

What is stopping him from purchasing a service manual?

b.t.w. go ahead and run the neutral current through the electrical ground system for all I care.
