Went for a look around this http://www.nsauction.com/auctions/08_2010/0828_johnson.html auction this morning. It was a hoa....com/gallery/tphotos/a133759.jpg[/img] [/img]

I"ll add it"s an early F10, can tell by the crossed braces in the back, newer ones went to a single channel on the corner. We have one on an MD with liver power and power steering, and one on an M with the engine locked up.

One has the snow bucket on it, which I would really like to find one near NE Colorado...

Thanks for that guys, I knew it must be a mass produced one when I saw more than one tractor equipped with it. I also figured it wasn't for lifting anything too heavy. Sure adds some bulk to the tractor to which it's attached.

That little tractor looks a lot like a Silver King I have only with the sheet metal from a Continental stationary engine or something.

Yeah, I think they were "only" rated for 2500 pounds at something like 21 feet up... Most of them had bucks that were 8-10 feet wide with 8 foot tines. We loaded and unloaded thousands of big round bales with our two. They are way stouter than they look.

On Farmalls they push the front end away from the back with the front brace, an extra brace tieing the front tractor frame to the rear loader frame is strongly advised, they will break the belly housing eventually, BTDT.

from the sale bill,is this it?
Fate Root Heath w/ “Silver King” rear end, Continental engine, #808, Pat#D91855

Gee, I never thought to look at the sale bill. The sale was a few miles west of International Falls MN.

I bought a H IHC last summer wiyh a Farmhand 10 loader on it. All painted IH red and worked like a charm. I took it off cause it was too bulky to work my trees with it on. It is also for sale.
