Unusual tires on Farmall (DOES ANYONE KNOW)

My friend in Oklahoma just bought an "H" Farmall with unusual tires on the rear. This Farmall has "DUAL" tires, BUT ON A SINGLE RIM. Each rear wheel has TWO tires on it. I have never seen two tires on a single rim, and he says it is factory. He also says this tractor doesn't have hydraulics. So does anyone know what this tractor is?

Yes, it is factory. I have never seen that set-up, but it is listed in the Farmall H parts catalog.

DanHoman, That ol H has a set of Sand Duals or aka... "Sandies" They were popular in the old Dust Bowl area of the US. Sure enough Texas/OK Panhandles, SW Kansas. SE Colo. I have seen many sets of them. I will bet that your buddies H has something like 9.5 X 38 or 36s. Not the usual 11 X 38 tire.
That Dual bracket mount is about a 12 in long, 1.5 x 1.5 angle iron with a base bracket welded on each end. There are about 8 brackets/wheel, 16 / tractor. Hope this helps.

Hey folks thanks a bunch for the comments and information. I couldn't find anyone who knew what the tires were. I knew I had never seen the dual setup with BOTH tires mounted on the same rim. Thanks again.
