Had to replace mechanical fuel pump lower right cornor of engine. Van started than lost prime. Where are the injection pump bleeders and how do I get to them? Also where do I find engine oil pressure sending unit and is there any other oil pressure port to hook a test gauage? Any fuel filters I should replace before I bleed injector pump. Thank you for any help you can provide. Armand

crack each line at the injector to bleed while holding throttle wide open while cranking. Don't know for sure on the oil sender. Filter( should be replaced before bleeding.

I'm guessing from what you posted you are clueless as to how a ROOOSA pump works. (The governor, for example.)

Oh, well!

I owned a 6.2L & 6.5L and never bled injectors to get them running after fuel filter change or after once accidentally running out of fuel. I just bled fuel filter and cranked engine.

If you don't know how long it's been since the fuel filters been changed then I would recommend changing fuel filter. Clean filter prolongs fuel inj pump life.

Oh, well!

If what you stated is required to drive a diesel car/PU then most of them one sees on the road would be parked as the average person has no concept of how a diesel engine starts/runs.

If you're such an expert, where's your advice for him? Oh, and Roosa has two "o's" not three. Oh, well
