I was finishing up the barn addition last Thursday and the ladder broke,along with my hip.Luckly I had my cell and got 9 1 1 and then called my wife.I have never had a hip pop out of place before but let me tell you,its real pain. I had surgery Last monday and got home yesterday. Cant put any weight on it for at least 8 weeks and then cant put a lot on it, I had planned on finishing my JD 60,cutting firewood and riding my motorcycle.But what I WILL be doing is setting here doing nothing.The Dr said no driving for a while but I am sure I will figure out how to do that soon. Right now getting to the truck is more then I can handle,Now that I have had my self pity I will get on with my life

If its your right hip dont get caught driving you insurance will not have to cover any accidents. Went 5 months without being able to drive do to broken hip the one year later having it replaced. Also good luck it gets boring with nothing to do.

Its my left hip.and on the minus side I am 69 yrs old.I drink a lot of milk and the Dr said that must have worked because I had a young mans bones. I plan on doing what the Dr orders.I have neighbors that will cut my wood and plow the drive out.I have almost enought wood for the winter anyway
