After setting all night and cooling down real good, 5 seconds of glowplugs and my little tractor starts up as quick as any of the cars.
I'll never make that mistake again (maybe).........

There is a leson here folks... If you're too lazy to pull the glowplugs to test for continuity, at least remove the wires.

i am working on a friends 254 international diesel. tractor was always hard to start. i used my laser thermometer and found 2 of the 3 glow plug were shot. tractor starts good now, but it also had an overheating problem, he had the head resurfaced, but i found a compression leak getting in to the cooling system. gotta pull the head some time.
