Ultra HD rotory cutter?

The 709 should be heavy enough for most but it lacks a "stump jumper". I can't imagine being without one, but maybe it works OK. ??

That's sort of looking like it.
Seen a rotary cutter one time with a notch in the deck at the back. For backing up to and cutting off trees.
A lot of thorns and iron wood here.

I had a JD 609 for about 15 years and it was tough. I cleared a lot of land and mowed down a lot of trees with it. I always`said that if I could knock it down and get on top of it the 609 would eat it.

(quoted from post at 23:04:17 08/15/10) Was looking at that. According to the parts book the disk from the medium duty units may bolt on?

According to JDparts.com in PC 1451 - 509, 609 and 709 Rotary Cutters - 07Jul09 lists W38626 PAN ADD 89.00 USD

I can take out a 2-3 inch tree with my MX8, It seems heavier than the 709, but may not be.

I know in the 15ft mowers, the toughest I know of is a Schulte mower, I think they make a 7ft mower, but not sure, they are really built tough, and aren't cheap....

(quoted from post at 08:20:31 08/16/10) See Tx Jim post above although I see it as "Pan, Blade Holder 709" PN 049401-X69999.

I copied and pasted this from JD PC 1451 STUMP JUMPER,509(045201-) 609(046301-X066999)709(049401-X069999)
