I really liked the previous haying pictures.Lets see some pics of'BigJohn'working(the little tractor too). Also, what do you use to move/load bales? Thanks,Steve

I"ll make sure James sees your post. Don"t know if we"ve got any videos of "Big John" working.

We"ve been using "Big John" to bale with and we have some hay to bale Sat. I"ll get some video then.

We use the Ford 2810 to move bales. I know we have pics, but again, no video. We"ve got 16 rounds on the ground right now. If James moves any this weekend, I"ll get some video.

We always enjoy the pics everyone posts.

Be carefull Nancy, I started out with a B John Deere and an R with a 605 C Vermeere baler, Just this week so far I have rolled up 300 round bales, needless to say I have had to up grade! This haying thing was like quick sand and it sucked me in...

Neither of us have any desire to bale anything more than what we have on our own property.

So far this year, we've baled 52 4x4 rounds from the coastal field and 48 5x4 rounds of very, very nice clean bahaia.

If we get a couple of inches of rain in the next week or two, which would be unusual for August, we might get another cutting of bahaia.

We should get another cutting off the bermuda, but it will be small - 10 to 14 bales at the most.

Here are a few photos from 2007.
