Just checked the 10 day forecast for the farm. We're having a cold wave! Instead of 103, it only going to be 94 to 98 for the next 10 days.

woo-hoo nanc, i'm gonna get my sweater out and some mittens and give you and james a hand baling hay!!!meebee see if i can pry kruser out of the house and away from the tv and get some work outa him. (rumor is he is startin to get berthing hips from eatin all them bon-bons!!)

Why aren't there any hurricanes? Surely that water must be warm by now. Maybe it is because they are caused by the electrical conditions of the atmosphere & not by warm water of the ocean. Those in the know predicted months ago , a mild hurricane season this year.

in north alabama we are in the midst of a solar tsunami, 100 degree plus with more to come.

That cold front hit us last evening about sundown. I was out watching son work on irrigation sprinkler. Saw some lightening off to the north. Got the spinkler repaired and started the pump. The sound effects and lightening added to the sprinkler starting throwing water. I guess we must have insulted the rain cause all we got was what we did. Lightening was so bad we headed in to the house. Aluminum pipe and lightening can mean trouble. Eighty seven degree and cloudy. One field of Alfalfa will have water and fertilizer on it by tonight. Sure nice to apply water and fertilizer at the same time. Hope the heat doesn't get you and James down. I can just sit in my easy chair and make sure the sprinkler keeps moving through the field. If it stops I push the wireless switch to shut down the pump till someone comes. Son even mounted little solar lights on it so he can see it at night. Kind of neat to see two bright little lights moving across the field.

yes, Teddy the magnetic storms from the sun do contribute to hurricanes. To say they are the only cause is a real stretch. The problem with Newmans theory, yes it is Newmans theory is that he has no math to prove his theories. I want to see pages of math proving his theory not just his saying so. You can make all kinds of claims but proving them beyond a doubt is another thing.

In this case I was not referring to Newman but to James Mc Canney. I listen to his talk show every week. A good way to get to know what is going on.
