i have a weird problem with the lift on my jubilee, it works pretty much normal with every attachment except my post hole digger, then when digging, it stops going down after about a foot and a half,most times once in awhile it will dig down to the gear head but not often, in checking, when i remove the lift arms from the digger,they continue on down to the lowest position, the upper arm of the digger is not in a bind and will dig with the lift arms un attached, when they are attached, forcing the digger down in the hole with the bucket of another tractor will raise the front of the jubilee off the ground, the u arch on the digger[ where the lift pins are attached] is not in a bind it swings freely, any ideas, as i mentioned all other impliments including pto powered ones work normally, i cant figure it out
 
What if you back up to a roadbank or somewhere that it could go the full depth without the point touching anything? Maybe your ground is hard at the point it always stops and it just don't pull itself down?

Thought I was the only one that had wierd problems.

Sounds like your digger's not digging.The lift won't push down on the digger,it drops by gravity.
 
thanks i havent tryed the dirt bank idea i will, the draft control lever has no effect on the problem ive already worked with that , the digger will dig fine if udes on another tractor, this thing has me stumped im thinking something worn in the internals, but it works fine with the mower, back blade, box blade, rake, and other stuff
 
If the front end of the tractor raises when the auger is pushed down with another loader, then I would suspect the top linkage is binding somehow.
 
sharpen or replace the cutter blades on the auger. make sure that the screw on the tip of the the auger is clean. If digging in grass the pull it up and clean the grass roots off.
