The super a I purchased on saturday has the left wheel as a thin steel wheel with a weight on the out side and the right wheel as thick solid cast iron. Which would be right, I don't think taht they should be different???

the offset side is a cast wheel(right). Left side is a stamped steel wheel. the cast wheel helps counter balance the weight of engine.

It's an "offset tractor" and the wheel on the narrow side is HEAVY to provide stability/prevent tipover.

I suggest you find some info on your treasure on the 'net or buy a book to find out it's features and construction.

The thick wheel goes on the right side and the operators manual states,DO NOT EXCHANGE WHEELS SIDE TO SIDE. This helps to deep the tractor from tipping over. Good luck on a fun tractor.
