The front axle of my A is a square axle tipped on edge (like a diamond) is this what all supers had. Thought they were round?? Also where can I find out about white demonstrators of A's????

The sn# is FAA 272971 I don't see an "I" on the tag for industrial. Was wondering if there are casting codes that I can cross reference to make sure of the year to know wether or not this is the correct front axle or if maybe the seat bracket with the SN has been changed out.

An industrial Super A would have the square axle and a foot throttle. I think the square axle was an option on a regular Super A.

No, an industrial is only noted by a different front axle. No different decals or serial numbers.

My grandfahers 47 Super A has a diamond shaped frt axle, and just the regular throttle. All the three others in his area bought about the same time had round axles...
Never figured out why yet... It was used daily up until 2007 in tobacco and corn, and then a small vegetable patch. It broke down in 2009 and I am hoping to get it this fall.
