Bought a Super A today.Bought asd a non runner but evrything looks like it will run.I just don't know what volt of batt to put in it.?(6 or 12) also would like a website that would tell me everything about the tractor.Prod #'s, etc,Also does anyone know if there are records on what sn's were white demonstrators?? mine has a few parts that are a little white. thanks

Take a look at your battery cables and see if the cable end of battery cable to your starter has the small end to to fit the small negative terminal on a battery. If it does it probably uses a 6 volt battery with positive ground. Hal

Check out external_link for serial #"s and production data. Click on left side "Farm Tractors" and go from there to find Farmall Super A.

I"m no expert, but to find voltage I would check out the coil, see if there are any markings saying 12v or check out the voltage regulator.
