Cab on a Kubota

I have a M4900 Kubota that the cab air filter stud nuts made into the fiberglass roof just spin when trying to remove 2 of the 4 retaining screws. Does anyone know of a way to stop nuts from spinning in fiberglass? After inspection of removed roof I find the nuts to be in a place that one can't get at to hold with pliers. Kubota dealer suggested replacing cab roof @ $1075 but I prefer another option. Thanks for any ideas,Jim

You may have to get creative,and think"out of the box"thats the code i live by.Good luck

I would try welding a nut to a 3 inch square plate of steel and attaching the plate to the tractor with sheet metal screws. I don't know what space limitations you have but this might be an option.

Disassemble until you can get to the nuts or cut the heads off the bolts...
