OT/Yahoo Mail

The other day,my Yahoo Mail said I had one new message,but I couldn't find it. Today it said I have 4 new,but there was only one that showed up. I deleted it and none of the other 3 showed up. It shows that I have 247 old emails,so I don't think my mailbox is full is it? They aren't in the spam folder either. Any ideas where they might be?
 
Sometimes a message appears lower down in your inbox if it was sent a few days ago and for some reason it got delayed in transit. Also if you have other folders and you move unread messages into them they will still appear as unread but not in the inbox.

Thanks Rich,found it. Kinda small print.Had to put my glasses on. 3 new messages from J Schweibert that I'd been expecting.
 
Sometimes I get spam coming to mine with the wrong date on them and I'll find them pages and pages down in old mail at the end of my 'new mail' folder. No idea why but every so often I go through and dump a pile of that crap.

I have run into the same problem before and the only reason I could tell you about it was the fact I have had to do that before to find those hidden messages that Yahoo is so good at having
 
I have a lot more emails then that, actually I have had over 1000, that is read and unread. I have deleted most and I am now down to about 200 unread emails and about 500 total read and unread.

This is no joke, most of the emails are junk from, the nnalert party, and other anti-left organizations, + job search crap.

I dont know how your emails can could be lost, but I am sure it happens.
 
You fellars over 40 have got to get over that I don"t need glasses thing and move on. As my eye doctor always says there are two kinds of people over 40 and they are the ones who need glasses and those who think they don"t need glasses blah, blah, blah. We go out and eat with several friends of ours periodically and most all of them have to borrow either mine or their wifes glasses to read the menu. I"ve got on them so bad that most of them have glasses now except the most bullheaded ones. I still think the world of them but come on guys, we"re not trying to make a fashion statement anymore.LOL CT
