What is the elbow size that you use to make an adapter on the spark plug hole and compression gauge?

The sparkplugs use 14MM thread.

The typical compression tester uses a hose with 1/8" pipe thread from the adapter to the actual gauge, so if your's is set up that way, a 1/8" pipe thread street el will do the job.

It depends on what engine. The compression testors I've seen come with different adaptors for different spark plug threads. Dave
