Traveller Renew Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid

Has anyone used this stuff or heard anything about it? I am just wondering if it is a better oil than their standard Premium Traveller UTF. I am looking for something to put in an older Powershift tractor, so preferably, I would like a Transmission/Hydraulic fluid that is on the thick side of the spectrum. I was looking at Shell Donax TD, but I can"t figure out where to buy it. It seems to be a little thicker viscosity than the other brands, coming in closer to a 15w30 vs the other brands coming in around a 10w20.

Why not check with the manufacturer of your tractor? Often its only a few dollars more to put in the oil designed for the tractor. Especially with a power-shift, sometimes there are issues with compatibility with friction materials in the transmission clutch packs.

I have, and AGCO wants $90 a bucket... I can change 2x as often and come out ahead... I think I may go with hygard at $60 a bucket or NH134D at ~$50 a bucket, but I wanted to check on this stuff. With oil, high price doesn't always mean quality and low price doesn't always mean junk either.

Also, the nearest AGCO dealer is 130+ miles away now, thanks to AGCO's wonderful business plan lol

Go to your local fuel distributer. If he is Cenex, Phillips, Shell, Mobil or other major brand he can cross reference it and sell you the right stuff. The majors package oil for a lot of other machinery lines.
