06 2500 HD dash

Instrument cluster on my 06 2500 HD fails to come up...analogue gauges and digital. If I pull the 15A fuses and re-insert (all look good) the dash works for about 3 starts then we go through the whole routine again. 160,000 trouble free miles otherwise...anyone know the fix?

Since the whole dash goes out on you, I suggest you look for loose ground connection. It may be going into a fixed situation temporarily when you pull and reinsert the fuses.

Are your battery and charging system doing their thing?

There's all sorts of weird stuff that can happen to those electronic dashes if the system voltage is a bit low.

wiggle the following fuses to see if the contacts are loose, IPCDC or SEO B1, IGN E or SEO IGN. You have two fuses, but I listed four because of the various options. Does the Heating and Air conditioning controls work when the problem happens? If the HVAC works the ground is most likely okay. Also wiggle the wires leading up to the instrument cluster. I checked and could not find any specific problem like yours.
