JD A pawnstars

Watched Las Vegas Rick the other day offer 2 grand for a what looked to be recently painted all green everywhere??? including left and right single GREEN plows ... the sport wanted 5 grand , so it was a NO deal; ... them guys got money to burn ..

Seller was a little too high depending on which rims were on the tractor. Where is another one like that one with the two-way plow?

i saw that one too, made me wonder if the seller [ and maybe the stars also] just didnt know how to start it, the tractor had new rear tires on flat spoke rims, and was just too clean to have been sitting very long, but i thought 5 grand was way too high, people just dont get it all pawn shops pay around half retail value, the 10 to 15 grand was not even reasonable for a restored tractor, unless there was something extreamly rare about that one besides being a row crop tractor in the middle of the nevada desert, maybe in his dreams

I think it had been setting there since the owner bought the place. He stated he had never tried to start it since he owned it, but the engine was loose.

It's a good thing he never tried to start it considering he turned the flywheel backwards in the show. LOL

I saw that too, and also thought the price was way too high.

The rims were flat spokes, so my guess is that they were steel wheel cutoffs. Nothing all that rare about the tractor in general.

Just because the engine is loose doesn't mean that it is any good. Why didn't they check fluids, put some gas in, and pull it around a bit?

I think I know the answer, and I wouldn't give more than $1,500 for the tractor as it sits, and maybe an extra $200 for the plow. If we knew it was in running condition, then mayby $5-7K or so, but I can't see people paying much more--at least around here.

They sure aren't from farm country.A couple weeks ago they went to look at a "corn shucker", it was a corn sheller and proceeded to throw an ear of fresh sweet corn in it to show how it worked an wound up with a gooey cob
