I picked up a generator at a yard sale, and was
told it was from a "Cub Caddett"
It"s 6 3/4 long without pulley
Diameter is 3 1/2 inches
Pulley diameter is 3 3/8 inches, looks like size
"A" belt
Stamping as follows:
424
BOSCH, made in germany
0-101-209041
EH->14V 11A 19
terminals are marked as follows:
D+ D-
DF
Does anyone know if it needs a voltage regulator
Does anyone know of a wireing diagram ?
I want to use it to keep a battery charged on a
2 cylinder Wisconsin engine with electric start.
Posting also on Garden Tractor site.

the old yellow cadet start-gens did use a voltage regulator like the old square box regs used on old cars, mower shops are pretty famliar with it..but since the cadet gens were run offf of the pto end of the engine they turn opposite of the ones used on the flywheel end of the engine, so that may be a consideration....

With those markings sounds like its a starter-generator probably has one large terminal which goes to the battery

I wore out a 68 Cub Cadet It had a starter=generator combination run by belt off the front of a Kohler 12 HP engine.

A lot of V4 Wisconsin motors came with a starter generator but I don't know what they had for voltage regulator.

I have yet to see a v4 wis with a starter - generator. They have a normal starter and a gear driven generator.
