Hey OLD how is the hay coming?

Are you getting any more hay put up? Or is the rain still against you? If you've got any rain to spare, we could sure use it down here. Three days of storm clouds and not a drop on our land or even in the neighborhood. Really dry down here right now!

I'm about 2/3s done on the first cutting. It has been getting dry here but still just enough rain that it is hard to get the hay done with out getting it wet. Sort of like today we got rain but not enough to have any in the rain gauge but enough that if I had hay down it would have gotten washed. Been dry enough here that I have been watering the garden about every other day. Had been thinking about cutting some but the last 3 days we have had rain each day but just enough to say it rained which then in turn makes it hot and steamy out

Well OLD.. cut some 2nd clover today Before The Hot TEMPS burned it to a crisp , My OWN 1st cutting hay Has been done for couple weeks , and have moved out thru the neighborhood ... BUT , I have cut all I am Going to cut of 1st Cut ,, Grass is Toasting in the fields ,,,, these are neighbor fields thast folx want cut off each year For FREE ... , And i try to do as much as I can and yeild to anyone else that may need them ,, Quality really went south last week ,, And the hay Market is poor here in s -IND ,for the 2nd straight yr ..

It was 102 in nj and it is getting dry as toast

Well every day including the 4th we have had rain. Sunday Monday and Tuesday you might as well have said it didn't rain because of how little it was then last night we got about a 1/2 inch
