OT- Somebody Jinxed Me

Some where on here the other day there was a post about AM radio interference in their truck.

I"ve got a 03 F150 that started buzzing shortly thereafter.

Is there such a thing as dirty electric power? My noise is worse when driving on rural roads with the power lines on the side of the road.

It can be heard when speed up or slow down. Cannot be heard when applying brakes to slow down but at a stop sign you can hear it with brakes applied.

Once I hit I-95 headed south NO More Interference.

Got home awhile ago and lifted the hood too look for ground straps or anything dangling, nothin jumps out at me. I did leave the switch on acc. with the radio on and when I put my hand on the antenna to see if it was loose, the radio would squeal. Would do that each time my hand would touch antenna.

Only thing I can think of in the time frame that this happened is that I used the jumper cables to start lawn tractor.

What"s up with this?
