Drove a little north of us to the Ag. supply this week and got into the fringe of the truck farming area. Melons are about done for this year. Had a good crop and they were good size this year but the price was not all that good. Because of the weather all three FL. TX. And us here in GA. Had melons at the same time.

Just thinking of raiding the fridge. I saw this and remembered ,
Wife got a couple those and a water mellon .
just had a big bowel of a mix YUM !!!

Oh boy, I spent a few summers picking those things and hauling them to the store- cantelope wasn"t so bad... watermelon just worn a guy out after loading a trailer by yourself!
