Remember that the 4th of July is Independence day here in the U.S.A. and many men and women have died keeping it a free country and we should stop and say thank you to each and every man and woman who has and is servings to protect the rights we have and many died to give them to us.

old, Thank You for your service. And Thanks to all who have and do serve. I have never been in the service but I do value the freedoms we have here in the U.S. All of us have a duty to see that the freedoms we enjoy are never taken. Taken by foreign interests or our own elected officials. We often take our way of life for granted and if we're not careful, it will be taken from us. Again, thanks to all who protect us and our way of life.

On July 4, 1776, the "colonies" were still under the Crown of England. For them--or even a group of them--to declare independence from England was an act of treason, punishable by death. So these brave men who signed the Declaration of Independence risked their lives and their property for something they had yet to experience in their lifetimes: freedom and self-government.

I doubt that any of us has ever taken, or ever will take, so great a risk. Certainly many thousands of men have taken up arms to defend the freedom that was declared on July 4, 1776 by these patriots, and it is our respect for those patriots who declared our freedom, as well of those who have fought to preserve it, that we celebrate on July 4 each year.

Please remember one thing. When they signed the Declaration of Independence , They did not sign it for themselves. They signed it for us.

Hate to say it. But since my wife died everyday is just another day to me. She ment more to me than even I knew. Now I work just to stay busy and not think about her as much.
