A friend of mine sold a car at the kruse auction last november and has still not recieved his money. His attorney was told 68 other people had the same problem, and it wasn't likely that any of them would get paid.

Think there was a discussion or a link to an article about him awhile back. Quite interesting if I remember right. Speaking of Kruse, I see Aumann's Auction reached a settlement over the Phillips auction in Ne. awhile back. I couldn't find any details of the out come though. You could probably Google Kruse and get all the info you want on him.

If I remember correctly, Kruse Int had their auctioneer's license revoked by the state of Indiana. I second the hold on the title until cash in hand.

No auctioneer will auction a vehicle unless they have a signed title in hand its the law in some states so the consigner can't hold the title.Just make sure the auctioneer is bonded the bond company stands behind it.If the seller didn't verify if the auctioneer is boned then its their own stupidity

If the required bond for auctions is anything like contractor bonding in this state, it won't be of much help. $12,000- big deal! If you're not first in line, you're outta luck.

I'm sure Kruse had a bond- license would have been suspended if they didn't.

According to an old car magazine I get.Kruse is in deep S##t and on the way to going under. Lots of people getting screwed by Kruse.
