Can someone help with the removal and replace of u-joints and where available, on the propeller shaft on a 1948 Avery V. There are no u-bolts to remove like on autos and will not drive out either direction. Thanks

inside snap rings????

I believe that's what they are called. They look like the old style old auto driveshafts. I thought of just taking out the snap ring and driving out the ujoints where they are but then thought I'd better ask around first.

I don't have a way to send picture right now. But if you can imagine a shaft between the back of the bell housing to the front of the rearend with a yolk and ujoint on each end that is what I have and no ubolts to take off the shaft.
