JD 212 and 31 tiller

My cousin just got a e-bay special no 31 tiller for his john deere 212 rider. Is anyone out here familar with mounting and lift for this?. I think the bracket couples right up to the back tractor frame, but we are not totaly sure. Also we need advice on finding or making a lift linkage. all it now has is about a foot long saddled rod off of the lift arm.
