hay was down 10 days and had 3+inches of rain on it. I did get it baled dry well most of it.(50 700 lbs+ bales on 15 acres)I don't know if thats good or not but it's better than nothing. suppose to rain again today and by the feels of it it's gonna hail "again". alot of guys cutting in the area yesturday and today. For cast changed to rain all week end now. Not going to be very much good 1st cut around this year.with any luck second cut will be better.

thats organic hay.I cut before there was any bloom, (I think I jumped the gun)It was so heavy in places that it had lodged and was all brown and rotting at the stem.If it does as good on the second cut as the first being organic I will be more than happy. My dad say's I should get three cuts if it doesn't go to drought here this year.I was the first guy that I know of to cut around here. A friend of mine 12 miles up the road his hay feild was stiking 6 inches out of the water on Saturday. They had 6 inches of rain and he lives on very flat land,I guess there aare some advantages to being in the hills.
