Wellllllll theres internet here at Lake Powell at Glen Canyon Dam and its the prettiest Lake my eyes have ever behold. The "first wife" just did laundry and lucky me got to dump all the RV tanks and refill with fresh water and Im full of gas n headed to Zion and Bryce Canyon wooooooo hoooooooo will check in at next Wi Fi.

I was at all of those places on a touring Honeymoon in 1983. And many other times as well. They are incredible. Jim
 
We used to rent a houseboat, tow the bass boats and fish Lake Powell. I think we went up about 50 miles.

Brice is undoubtably the most beautiful and unbelievable place on the earth. Only God could create such a geat place. Hope we can return there some day. Have a good trip.

Have fun and don't let the hose slip off when dumping your tanks.
 
I used to live there up the hill in Page....hopefully the lake is back to capacity, a few years back it was way low...You definitely have scheduled a nice trip. Keep those tires cool and make sure you have enough gas to get to the next stop!
 
Hi, I used to live in Cedar City about 10 years ago, nice area.

I don't think they let tourist drive into Zion anymore. I think they are using propane powered tour buses.

One Indian tribe built a grain storage facility many years ago on the side of a verticle rock cliff a few hundred feet straight up. Its located in Zion Canyon on the right as you are headed to the end.

Yes! Lake Powell is the most beautiful lake in the USA! Did you know that it has more coastline than the Pacific ocean has with the western states?

We lived in St George in the 90's and that was our favorite spot...a great place to camp (out off the dirt roads) and tie up the wave runner....lake was like glass early in the morning, but watch out in the afternoon. It is a big lake, and when a storm rolls in it can get treacherous fast! We once had to wait till dark to get home from an island with the waverunner...6' waves are scary!
