What's a good landscaping rake

I have a lot of gravel and rocks in my garden. I thought that I could get a 7' landscaping rake and take out every other tine to drag the rocks out of the topsoil to make cultivating, hoeing and planting easier. What would you recommend for a brand?

Buy one that the teeth are each held in place by a bolt....KingKutter is a design like that. I had a KK and liked it....bought a LandPride cheap, so I sold the KK thinking the LP would be better....not so.

Eldon,
I also have a King Kutter and think that it is a good value for the money. Mine is 7' and is a very good tool. That being said, a few years ago I did rip my KK rake apart at the swivel but I was using it way harder and for things that I shouldn't have. I re-did it with a heavier pipe and now it should stand the abuse. I also corrected a flaw that I didn't like in that swivel joint. It had about 3/4" of up and down movement in that joint and when feathering out dirt etc I always had to get that slack out of there before the rake would lift up.

Eldon.. That is interesting I am a dealer for both brands King Kutter and Land Pride..Have been for years.. Our experience is that King Kutter is a good cheap unit suitable for most home owners but when we sell to proffesional land scapers and heavy use people we sell the land pride unit. It is better built and holds up better. I would say to the guy making the request most people that do what he is saying he wants to do are not satisfied.. The tines are just not that heavy on any rake.. They work good around new house construction to get rid of the blocks and scrap but very limited on rock removal. Skid steer harley power rake is what he needs. Jerry
