OT/ Dixion lawn mower adjustment to drive cones

There are alot of those Dixion lawn mowers sitting around, because of the drive train on them needs adjustments. I have a couple, and they are acting up a little.

There are alot of screws etc for adjustments, and I wondered if anyone knows of a manual, preferably on line that shows step by step adjustments.

Thanks in advance.

I have a Dixon 3304 and have been searching for a shop manual and have found nothing but the owner guide. The dealer said look online but there's nothing. I've posted questions on various message boards and it seems no one wants to talk about the ZTR drive. There's different styles and mines a later version and the adjustments are different than the older Classic Drives. I finally just bit the bullet and started adjusting what I could see and after 4 hours of sweat got them close enough to move forward and reverse. Yeah, been there. bjr

I am not at home (in Afghanistan) but I had the same problem years ago and cannot remember where I found the instructions. I found the site below though and it looks like it may help if you have the older models. mine is/was an "86 model.I got mine adjusted only to find that the parts were too worn to adjust enough.

Keep trying- I bought a Dixon at auction a few years ago, and ended up getting a manual downloaded from somewhere- but darned if I can remember how I came up with it.

Try Dixon autorized repair shops- I'm thinking I contacted one and they emailed the manual to me. Or told me where to find one online.
